Abstract: The education of children with disabilities is a very sensitive topic for Bulgarian society. Their training is tailored to their special educational needs. Children with SEN are part of society and their number, according to the statistics, is growing. This poses many obstacles for children with SEN in mainstream school/kindergarten, their parents, teachers, normal children, etc. Integrated learning is important for the socialization of children with specific needs, but it still has its critics. The article examines the legal framework that is the basis for inclusive education in Bulgaria and examples from the public space.
