Abstract
The dynamics in the development of digital technologies, information systems, and social networks necessitate transformations in the theoretical and methodological foundations of human
and organizational resource management within the contemporary digital society of
Generation Z. The adaptation of managerial models to the inter-computer reality of
the 21st century represents not merely a functional necessity, but also a prerequisite
for a profound socio-technical reorganization of management practices.
It is essential to acknowledge the growing trend toward the increasing mediation of algorithmic systems and artificial intelligence (AI)-based systems within
the information chains of human–computer and computer–computer interactions.
AI systems not only support but may also fundamentally reshape decision-making
processes in the management of people and organizations. This circumstance calls
into question the autonomy of the human subject while simultaneously redefining
the boundaries between “human” and “machine” agency. Consequently, there is a
pressing need for a critical re-evaluation of the ethical and cultural foundations of
management in the context of the contemporary inter-computer reality.
Keywords: digital transformation; artificial intelligence (AI); intercomputer reality; automated decision-making; 7S paradigm.
